Jan Meyer

 Jan Meyer received the Ph.D. in Electrical Power Engineering and the postdoctoral qualification in Power Quality from Technische Universitaet Dresden, Germany (2004, 2018). He is Professor and Team Leader of the “Power Quality” group. His research covers network disturbances, measurement uncertainty, and data analysis. He is active in CIGRE, CIRED, and chairs the German EMC Committee UK767.1. 

S. Mark Halpin

 S. Mark Halpin (Fellow, IEEE) is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University. His teaching covers power systems, control, and network analysis. His research focuses on dynamic performance and power quality. He is active in IEEE, CIGRE, and IEC, serving as chair and convener in committees on power quality and low-frequency disturbances. 

Ana María Blanco Castañeda

ALEMANIA

Ingeniera eléctricista de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Doctora en Ingeniera eléctrica de la Technische Universität Dresden (Alemania). Actualmente es investigadora postdoctoral en el Instituto de Sistemas Eléctricos de Potencia e Ingeniería de Alta Tensión de la Technische Universität Dresden. Sus principales temas de investigación la emisión y propagación de armónicos en los sistemas de distribución y transmisión, y los métodos probabilísticos aplicados a los sistemas eléctricos.

Christopher Scott

 Christopher Scott is Professor and Goddard Chair in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at Pennsylvania State University. He is Science Director of the Americas Water-Energy-Food Nexus Alliance and Associate Director of the Institute of Energy and the Environment. His research addresses the water-energy-food nexus, water security, and transboundary policy. 

Margaret Busse

 Is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Penn State. Her research combines fundamental photochemistry, optics, experimental fluid dynamics, and system analysis tools to develop innovative technologies that improve human health and advance sustainability. Her applications areas span critical infrastructure systems including water and wastewater treatment, energy, and healthcare. 

Brian Fronk

EE. UU.

Is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Penn State. His research explores supercritical CO₂ systems, solar thermal energy, and advanced heat exchangers. He integrates experimental and computational methods to advance energy storage, heat pump technologies, and decarbonization strategies for industrial, building, and transportation applications.

Stephanie Buechler

EE. UU.

Joined Penn State University in July 2021 as an Associate Research Professor in Ag Sciences Global and with Extension, including the Globalizing Extension, Innovation Network (GEIN) initiative. Her work explores the intersections of environmental change and agriculture (including urban agriculture) and renewable energy and agriculture including gender issues. She currently has research and writing projects on South America, Mexico, India, and the U.S.
