S. Mark Halpin (Fellow, IEEE) is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University. His teaching interests include power systems, control systems, and network analysis. His research interests are in the areas of power system dynamic performance and power quality.  He is active in the IEEE Power Engineering Society where he was the Chair of IEEE 519, in CIGRE where he serves as Convener of the Working Group charged with revising the IEC Technical Reports

Ingeniera eléctricista de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Doctora en Ingeniera eléctrica de la Technische Universität Dresden (Alemania). Actualmente es investigadora postdoctoral en el Instituto de Sistemas Eléctricos de Potencia e Ingeniería de Alta Tensión de la Technische Universität Dresden. Sus principales temas de investigación la emisión y propagación de armónicos en los sistemas de distribución y transmisión, y los métodos probabilísticos aplicados a los sistemas eléctricos.

Her applications areas span critical infrastructure systems including water and wastewater treatment, energy, and healthcare. 

Brian Fronk

Is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Penn State. His research explores supercritical CO₂ systems, solar thermal energy, and advanced heat exchangers. He integrates experimental and computational methods to advance energy storage, heat pump technologies, and decarbonization strategies for industrial, building, and transportation applications.

Stephanie Buechler

Joined Penn State University in July 2021 as an Associate Research Professor in Ag Sciences Global and with Extension, including the Globalizing Extension, Innovation Network (GEIN) initiative. Her work explores the intersections of environmental change and agriculture (including urban agriculture) and renewable energy and agriculture including gender issues. She currently has research and writing projects on South America, Mexico, India, and the U.S.
